This page is the repository of personal ministry examples. These motivational stories of everyday people using their spiritual gifts and passions to positively change their communities will inspire each one of us. Check back soon as we build our library. Read and grow. You’ll be glad you did!
Do you have a encouraging ministry story you’d like to share? We’d love to hear from you! Let us know how you are touching lives through your day-to-day actions. Take a moment and read through our instructions page. You make a difference. Tell your story and help others make a difference, too!

Your work is encouraging. Many communities in Kenya have lost their lives and econonies to droughout. I write to invite your collaboration in our project of building water harvesting facilities.
Heaven’s Team started as my husband and I helping neighbors in the inner city where we live. Sometimes it was food or a ride somewhere, maybe and over the counter med for a sick parent or child a couple of times it was something bigger like a furnace and twice there was a need for breaker boxes. We did Christmas stockings for some of the neighborhood kids. Some of the neighborhood kids even came to live with us if there was a problem with the parents or if parents got evicted. This kept them out of foster care and we were able to help the parents get back on their feet. Then God started sending us children he wanted us to raise, 5 in all, so we answered that call too. Then friends started helping us with some of the things we were doing since with so many children we no longer had extra funds. Now Heaven’s Team is a church and we are hoping to expand even further into the inner city and help even more families and seniors with their needs. The biggest need seems to be transportation and we have just started the Transportation Initiative which will provide families with bus passes and eventually taxi vouchers for things like grocery shopping banking prescription pick up and last minute doctor appointments. I really appreciated some of the information I read on your site. I completely agreed with your article on the dark hurdles. Biggest problem I’m having is there isn’t enough time in the day. I do feel blessed to have friends in this with me though. God bless and keep up those encouraging messages.
